CSIRO’s Data61+ showcase event designed to demonstrate the advances, capabilities of Australia’s data driven science disciplines, is also a key connector event between scientists, decision makers in public and private industry as well as the general public. The event features inspiring figures from the research, policy and public spheres in a series of keynotes, panel talks and masterclasses, as well as showcases of technologies and application developed by Data61+ sponsored research. D.A.M created a theme driven by the unique relationships Data61+ has as both a champion of data driven sciences and a connector to government and industry – Intelligence Amplified. Collaborating with sister agency NAKATOMI and data artist Freya Berkhout we used Data61+’s own data to create key visuals for the event.
